Dan Lander and Dan Moore are wind engineers from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute doing research using NHERI’s Wall of Wind facility at Florida International University. On this week’s show, they talk about their project and offer advice to prospective wind engineers.
Samantha Gildersleeve, CeFPaC Graduate Student, recently received the National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship. This NDSEG Fellowship is awarded to outstanding graduate students who possess intellectural merits and whose research and work aim to have a broader impact on fields of interest to the DoD. Selection of awardees is made by the Army Research Office, Office of Naval Research, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, and the High Performance Computing Modernization Program.
