CeFPaC Experience

Working at CeFPaC was a great experience.  I have had several work experiences including another undergraduate research position and the environment here was definately the best.  Everyone took their work seriously but were still will to help each other and just talk to each other once in a while.

I worked under a graduate student at CeFPaC, studying peizoelectric actuators.  Studying the possibility of dynamic vortex generators as well as helping build model DVG's to test in the wind tunnel.  I performed data validation for various actuators, testing for resonance frequency and failure criteria.  I used excel to represent data in various plots and visualization.  I also studied methods of production of test models and worked on improvements that resulted in greater data consistency and system performance.  I also helped work and collected data using the wind tunnel, as well.

Future Plans:

Michael plans on completing his M.S. here at RPI.  Upon graduation, he plans to look for full employment in the field of consulting or a more applied mathematics based career.
